PHOENIX – Randy Foye's 20-foot jump shot with 1:58 remaining gave Minnesota the lead for good and the Timberwolves edged the Phoenix Suns 105-103 Friday night.
Foye's shot came with just one second left on the shot clock. Kevin Love added a free throw and Rodney Carney scored on a fast-break layup in the final 94 seconds for the Timberwolves, who won for the sixth time in seven games.
Sebastian Telfair gave the Suns an opening when he missed a 28-foot 3-pointer with 6.9 seconds left. But Jason Richardson missed a 3-pointer from the right corner at the buzzer and Phoenix lots its second straight.
